butterfly wish

Wishes that are as fragile and fleeting as a butterfly, and just about as useful.

Girl 1: I wish I could get a better paying job, in a nice environment, away from all of this.
Girl 2: Well that's a pretty butterfly wish, but until you get up off your ass and do something about it, you're stuck here.
