Translates roughly to "Earth-prince" in English.

A title given to all Malays and natives in Malaysia by themselves, where they are given various benefits most notably, quotas in public universities, quotas in housing developments, and quotas in new businesses that the upper management must comprise partly in them, among other benefits, and much to the dismay of the local minorities.

Person A : Our manager is doing nothing at all for this company!
Person B : He is a bumiputera after all.
