Bardova 

The sudden and often intrusive thought of the most inappropriate, foolish, dangerous, or outright stupid action that could be taken in a given situation. It represents a fleeting moment of irrationality, where one's mind considers an option that, if acted upon, would likely lead to negative consequences.
It is both the thought and the action the thought is about.

As she stood at the edge of the cliff, a bardova flashed through her mind—what if she just jumped? She quickly shook the thought away and stepped back.

1. When a person, frequently a teacher, refers to Shakespeare as if he's God.

2. Less frequently, taking the name of Shakespeare in vain.

'Shakespeare is the greatest writer ever. He literally changed the way we all look at the world.'
'Man, did you hear that? That's some serious bardolatry. If you ask me Shakespeare was gay.'
