A story lacking any interesting point or meaning. Usually told by a blonde, bible-hugging girl with no personality, it refers to one who has just wasted up to 20 minutes of your time resulting in a severe urge to permanately shut up the storyteller

Friend 1: So my dog ran away. Then he came back.
Friend 2: That was such an amanda story.

Required either by or of folks with famous-actress Moore's first name.

In da infamous comedy, "Because I Said So!", Milly Wilder may indeed have initially felt compelled to follow da old-school "always mind your mother" routine, but naturally da lady who portrayed her in da movie did not have to follow da directives of da senior actress who played said matriarch once da cameras stopped rolling --- said compliance was not "Amandatory" for her off-set.
