trust-a-fari

Trust fund babies who adopt the Rastafarian culture for its love of marijuana and dreadlocks.

Trustafarian's are easily befriended with the standard marijuana joint. They prefer Dub or Roots reggae to dancehall and popular music cause "keepin it real" means shunning anything new and adopting anything old school. Conversations usually gravitate toward the love of marijuana and conspiracy theories. Trustafarian's natural habitat is in Northern California and can often be found reeking of ganja and patchouli.
My roommates always home and doesn't work. His peeps are rich so he's a total trust-a-fari.

trust-a-farian

A white person, usually in their 20s, who fancies themselves a rastafarian and has dreadlocks--and a trust fund, thereby making them a pretentious ass.
Mike: Dude, that white girl's dreadlocks are fucking disgusting.
Sally: She's such a trust-a-farian.

You don't trust me with your puppy on a leash look.

The look given when someone is denied a seemingly innocuous right of friendship becuase of a lack of trust.
"No, I won't change in front of you. . . and don't give me that 'You don't trust me with your puppy on a leash look."

Trust me, I'm a mixologist.

A phrase often uttered by amateur bartenders who don't know what the hell they're doing, in order to gain the trust of a customer who doesn't know what they really want.
Customer: How do you know this drink will be good?

bartender: Trust me, I'm a mixologist.

I'm/he's/she's a Christian, so you can trust me/him/her

All the more reason not to trust the person... if the fact that someone is a "born-aginner" even has to be mentioned, then there must be something less-than-honest/honorable that said supposedly-clean-living person has to hide --- "methinks he doth protest too much"!
I have seldom if ever had any more luck with the honesty/integrity/consistency/reliability/kindness of someone about whom I was solemnly assured that, "I'm/he's/she's a Christian, so you can trust me/him/her"... in fact, if anything, these stuck-up Bible-thunpers often seem to be even BIGGER a**h**es than their "non-believer" counterparts! They think that "God will forgive them" for anything they do, and so they make little true effort to keep their word or otherwise treat their fellow humans with even basic decency.

a brand that the fans trust

A line used in Lupe Fiasco's song "The Show Goes On" meaning that he's a trusted source and that they won't be ripped off.
The new skate shop downtown is 'a brand that the fans trust'.
Lupe's new music is 'a brand that the fans trust'.
