Zsigány

Zsigány is a Hungarian slang

A playful or mocking slang term in Hungarian. Refers to a person who acts silly, messes around, and takes other people's stuff as a joke — not in a malicious way, but as part of fooling around.
„Ne legyél már zsigány, add vissza a tollamat!”
Translation: “Don’t be a zsigány, give me back my pen!”

⚠️ Note: Although the word is a blend of "zsidó" (Jew) and "cigány" (Gypsy), it is used in a joking or teasing context among some speakers. It can still be considered offensive, so it should be used with caution.
