The dumbest most annoying figure of speech ever invented, commonly used in comment threads on social media because if the person typing it heard how incredibly fucking stupid it sounded when spoken aloud they would remove it from their vocabulary permanently. Some even include the word “several” to maximize the level of disgrace this phrase brings to the English language.
Look at this thing I don’t like on social media, I think I’ll comment with “yikes on bikes” so that everyone who reads this thread will know that I’m the lamest asshole on the entire internet
