Yigiter Effect

The Yigiter Effect refers to a social phenomenon where one person’s constant flaking, cancelling plans, or avoiding commitments begins to influence the behaviour of others around them. Over time, people in the same social circle start adopting the same habit of flaking because it becomes normalised or expected within the group.

In simple terms, it’s when one serial flaker indirectly trains everyone else to start flaking too.
