What a shame about me

Ok. This gets a little complicated and convoluted but we'll do our best. Here goes:. Person ' a ' who's a raging success asks person 'b' who's not doing so well how it's going. When b extols his/her pathos and bathos person 'a'replies:"what a shame about me"see the irony? The origins of this are from a steely dan song of the same title. From their 2001 comeback album. 2 against nature"
Mr big asole: "hey. Poses
How are your investments doing?"poses: not too well. I took a bath on genentech!"mr big asole:"huh. Well.what a shame about me!"
