The creation of far-reaching, pervasive and destructive policy based upon unbelievably unreliable, unpredictable and/or otherwise ridiculously, unsubstantiated, merit-less untruth.
Current example of Weaponised Ignorance in a time when airtravel has NEVER been more safe: These new-fangled airplanes are just waaaay too complicated for pilots to fly. Too many buttons and switches to deal with. We need to bring back those old-school airplanes with them 'flappin' wings' and git rid of all these new ones with the com'puters...
