Derived from the Yoruba word Talika (a poor person).
1. The state or condition of being perpetually broke or lacking financial resources.
2.A lifestyle or mindset forced upon someone by a lack of funds.
3.The "art" of surviving on a zero-naira budget.
“I wanted to go to the concert with the squad, but talikanism is currently holding me hostage until next payday.”
“We need to find a cure for this talikanism before the weekend starts.”
