Steam a ding
The act of expelling a bowel movement of such remarkable warmth and vigour that it appears to emit a visible vapour, often accompanied by a triumphant sense of completion. Commonly employed in jocular or coarse conversation to denote the urgent need to defecate.
Lord Pembroke: “My dear fellow, I shan’t be joining the second course of the banquet. The pheasant pâté has instigated a most urgent necessity.”
Sir Reginald: “Oh heavens, not again. Dare I ask?”
