Stake Sisters

Similar to "soul sisters", stake sisters share a deep, unexplainable connection, often about strange, obscure eccentric, or dark subjects, leading them to think their ancestors may have been victims of the witch hunts in Early Modern Europe and Colonial America. Connection to any formal or informal version of witchcraft is not required, simply the type of person whose interests may lie in the spirituality of the natural world or have taken them on a different course than the mainstream.

Esme: Teacups? YES. I saw that on--

Stevie: That mortician's YouTube channel?

Esme: How did you know?

Stevie: We must be stake sisters.
