What is a Soularis?
A Soularis is a person who has been mentally
broken by
humans and now feels that they no longer identify as
one. Becoming a Soularis is not a choice; it is
something that develops over time due to being used, abused, betrayed, lied to, fake loved, made to feel worthless, bullied, and much more. It is not just about acting like a mythical creature; it is a reflection of how the
world has treated you.
Types of Soularis:
Soularis identify with various mythical creatures, including demons, angels, dragons, vampires, zombies, fairies, mermaids, phoenixes, ghosts, sirens, gods, aliens, and monsters.
Identification:
Soularis feel a strong connection to mythical creatures because they are magical and can bring benefits like good luck. For example, someone who identifies as an
alien might have the instinct to jump on every surface they see and explore the smallest of things out of curiosity.
Types of Soularis:
* Bicolaris: These individuals identify outside the
normal range of mythical creatures and instead identify as creatures like goblins, cyclops, and griffins.
* Co-Celestial: These individuals identify as a combination of
different creatures. For example,
one might be half ghost and half siren.
Experiences and Behaviors:
* Phasing: “Phasing” refers to how the moon rotates and its shadow slowly changes. This can be a metaphor for how Soularis slowly “phase” into their
true identity.
* Community: Soularis often connect with others in their “Sun,” which refers to the word Soularis (meaning sun). The Suns are the people in your region of mythical creatures who each have their own language to communicate.
Misconceptions:
* Not Otherkins: Soularis are often confused with Otherkins, but unlike Otherkins, Soularis don’
t just identify as non-
humans; they also feel like they were born non-human. They are developed from a few mythical creatures instead of a wide range.
* Not Otherhuman: Soularis have their identity because of trauma, depression, and being discarded. They are not in the human genus because they have
always identified as Soularis and
never developed a human identity. They have
never identified as human in their entire lifetime.
