a portmanteau of sigmund (freud) and mode. "entering sigmode" is when you start psychoanalyzing someone at no provocation.

person a: yeah man she was so hot!!
person b: interesting how you think she's hot...i was going to say she looked like your mom.
person a: aw dude don't go sigmode on me
