The not-so-common misspelling of "sunshine".

An actual conversation that I had with my friend on MSN:

Me: Hey, John, look outside! The shunsine is beautiful!

John: You spelled it wrong, dipshit.

shunshine 

The state of being one achieves working in a cubicle, facing the wall of a windowless hallway, in an office on the fifth floor of a building in the middle of the country a day away from deadline.

Co-worker 1: Man, I feel like I haven't seen the shunshine, I mean, sunshine in forever. Apparently I haven't seen it in so long I can no longer pronounce it.

Co-worker 2: Heh. Actually, the first version might more accurately describe our state of being.

someone that once radiated warmth, cheer, happiness or love towards you, then deliberately shuns or avoids you.
