The seagauntlet involves a coordinated campaign where multiple aggressors use sealioning tactics—endless questions, feigned ignorance, demands for proof—while simultaneously subjecting the target to the full force of the social gauntlet: public shaming, cancellation, doxxing, and in extreme cases, physical violence. The seagauntlet is text-based, word-based, speech-based—it happens in comments, in DMs, in forum threads—but its effects are devastatingly real. It's cancel culture weaponized, mob justice systematized, the gauntlet updated for the digital age.
