Schnibsy

A tall pouring (8-12 oz) of an alcoholic beverage, usually whiskey, that is drunk in the early or mid afternoon.

When my grandfather visited my uncle's gas station, they would often pour a schnibsy or two at around 3 in the afternoon.

Schnibsy

A large pour of whiskey straight up, usually drank in the early afternoon hours.

My grandfather would often meet at my Uncle's gas station and have a schnibsy or two before the gas station closed at 6pm.
