Satellite Friend

The friend that is never really part of the "fam" group of friends. They're never on the inside of any circles and only make their revolutions around the outside of close cliques, even though they're friends with all of them.

Satellite Friend

Someone you have in your Facebook friends list not because you like them so much but because at one point in your life you met them and they live somewhere else completely and you never know when they might come in handy.

Jim: "Hey I was thinking of going to Europe this summer."
Jack: "Oh I have some satellite friends there you can get in touch with!"

Satilite Friend 

A friend of a friend that you otherwise not activly meet. Mostly you are not that close with that person. Without the planet, you dont see the satalite.

I know someone that could help but he is a satilite friend. Since this is not that importend, we ll find it out ourself.
