Rittenhouse Defense

A term used when someone claims self-defense after they provoked someone. Named after the infamous Kyle Rittenhouse case where the defendant argued for self-defense while it's argued on whether or not he provoked the shooting.
Person 1: "That man claimed self-defense in court after he shot her!"
Person 2: "He's pulling the Rittenhouse Defense."
