Work given to you by teachers to do at home, or if lucky, you already finished it at school. It is usually loathed by students due to the fact that it can take up a lot of time. It can range from easily doing it in a few minutes to taking up to an hour or more depending on the length and proficiency in that subject. Homework (in my opinion) should be given out if absolutely necessary; e.g: a student is missing deadlines for school work and has to make it up.

Brackets and wire are put on your teeth to correct your teeth or bite, or make space for a tooth to come in. Those are braces. I currently have them, and in my opinion, they suck. You can eat hardly anything, they'll be sore for a couple of days, food will get in between your wires, and you constantly have to brush your teeth to prevent {gingivitis.} You should eat some regular foods for your teeth to remain strong, because if you don't your teeth may crack when they take them off. I'm not trying to scare you if you need braces, just telling you from my experience.
Orthodontist: "Your teeth are crooked, you will need braces. We'll schedule for next week."

A term used when someone claims self-defense after they provoked someone. Named after the infamous Kyle Rittenhouse case where the defendant argued for self-defense while it's argued on whether or not he provoked the shooting.
Person 1: "That man claimed self-defense in court after he shot her!"
Person 2: "He's pulling the Rittenhouse Defense."
