Content deliberately created to provoke anger or
frustration online. Similar to trolling or baiting, ragebait uses
inflammatory or controversial statements in posts, comments, messages, or videos to trigger emotional, often hostile reactions from others.
It can appear anywhere online from
social media, forums, chat rooms, or even entire servers designed to spark outrage and arguments.
Person 1: "That tweet was pure ragebait just designed to make people lose their cool."
Person 2: "Don’t feed the ragebait in the
comments; they just want you to get angry."
