Person 1: This morning, Lisa told me she was up all night because you were making such a racket upstairs.

Person 2: What! That is such a rough draft! I wasn't even home last night!

2. The thing middle school and high school teachers force you to turn in, which most people, including me, write AFTER the final draft by intentionally inserting errors within the final draft.

2. Damn that english teacher, she forces us to write a rough draft even if the first time we write it is perfect. Not only that, but she is counting it as 50% of the test grade, what a bitch.

When you are in the middle of urinating, and decide you might have to take a shit soon, so you don't flush the toilet right away. Saving a rough draft can be out of a sincere desire to conserve water, or just out of sheer laziness.
