Psalms 90

A timeless set of biblical verses on how God wants His creation to view the concept of time, which reminds mankind how life is fragile and transient—how His people need to value their limited time on earth while they go through life’s tribulations and experience His recurring deliverance and blessing until their last breath.

In Psalms 90, we’re told that (a) in God’s sight, a thousand years are like a day that has just gone by; (b) the length of our days is 70 years—or 80 years, if we’re strong enough; and (c) we need to ask God to teach us to number our days carefully so that we’ll be wise in how we live.
