Prognoxious

Unapologetically self-indulgent in multiple time signatures. Usually applies to progressive rock music, but can also be used to describe people who pretend to be experts on the subject.

"Hey, would you be interested in playing keys on this song of mine? It's pretty prognoxious, but I'm not even trying to hide the fact that I'm emulating Geddy Lee."

popnoxious 

adjective; describes a song or artist of the pop genre. A song that is catchy and overplayed, or an artist whose music is this way.
This type of music get's extremely annoying, extremely fast.
Usually played by popular pop radio stations, and can be found on the iTunes Top 100.

Person 1: "Dude, this station plays so much Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga. It's getting annoying."

Person 2: "Right? It's totally popnoxious."

A combination of the words PREtentious and obNOXIOUS. Used to describe girls like the Plastics from Mean Girls.

Check that preppy bitch with those fake tits and cheap extentions. She's so fucking prenoxious I wanna puke!
