National Pickle Time Day

December first is officially a day where you put a pickle in your mouth sideways to resemble a mouth guard and take a picture of yourself and/or friends.
Tony did you hear it’s National Pickle Time Day?” “Yeah I can’t wait to get home and stuff my mouth with pickles!”

chicken and pickle time

"chicken" and "pickle" are nicknames used in the 2005 movie "The Squid and the Whale" by director and writer Noah Baumbach. In the movie, the children of the family are called chicken and pickle. The use of those names symbolizes the love of the parents for their children in otherwise difficult times.
by some detours, the meaning got expanded beyond family bonds and now stands for two persons in love with each other. "Chicken and pickle time" therefore means time that two lovers spend together, usually having sexual intercourse.
Note: The movie also inspired the London Folkband "Noah and the whale" in the choice of their bandname
When I finish washing dishes we can have some chicken and pickle time.
