When you can't possibly fuck something up, and need to find a way; when you have a timeline that just NEEDS to be sabotaged; when you absolutely can't imagine a way to make this good thing go bad, the unbelievable happens, and you're screwed.

Question: "Why is aircraft 05 still in the hangar on jacks when it was supposed to be flying a test card last week?"

Answer: "Sir, it's been Padgettized."

VERB- to screw up the simplest task. NOUN- a person who screws up everything without trying or knowing why.
ADJ.- the NLG door was severely "PADGETTED".

ex.i "padgetted" the nose landing gear door on double nuts.
