Piru - a street in Compton, and also the neighborhood gang, which merged with the Bounty Hunters, Brims, and Piru Crips, and other various small neighborhood gangs to form the loosely affiliated gang (to counteract the overpowering Crips) which is now known as the Bloods

Short for the Piru Street Boys, they where the first set of a Blood street gang that formed on Piru Street in Compton. The Pirus, which are Bloods now,use to hang out with the Crips prior to 1972. For a short time, they where known as the Piru Street Crips, and they wore the traditional blue bandanas as a part of there attire.

Piru started out from breaking off of the crips, spelling tha word backwards an puttin tha c upside-down, Piru's wear burgundy as opposed to tha Bloods wearing red, an i dont give a fuck what you fake niggas say but Blood an Piru two different gangs, but they affiliated with one another.
