Otherkinology 

Otherkinology, sometimes also used therianology, is the study of otherkins and therians, for therians it's specifically used therianology, otherkinology seeks on the study of otherkin/therian theories, ideas, concepts, behaviors, personalities, minds and brains, also used to refer to the study of otherkin biology and it's influence over otherkins and therians. Otherkinology is well used by the otherkin rights movement to refer to the study of otherkins and therians in order to get social and political recognition.

"I do not think otherkinology and therianology are actually necessary, they are just like humanology, lgbtology, animalology, deistology and all else, but those areas are interesting for the ones who like to study about them and think about them, and otherkinology might be useful for otherkins get their rights and recognitions in the future as well."
