An oppoventional person will usually disagree with statements just because, even if deep down they agree. Nobody can tell an oppoventional person how to do anything without a "this is why I shouldn't do that" rebuttal almost immediately, even if their reasoning makes little or no sense to anyone, including themselves.
Simply put, "oppoventional" is a defiant state of mind that goes beyond all logic and reasoning and the end goal is to cause friction, arguments and just basically get a bite out of anyone that they choose to focus their negativity energy towards.
Oppoventional persons don't always pick fights with enemies, it's quite often their loved ones that cop the most shit.
