Nerd high

A feeling of euphoria one gets after seeing something truly awesome. Normally lasts anywhere between 3 weeks to 4 months.

Me: So, I just saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1.

Girl: How was it?

Me: I'm gonna be on a nerd high for a long time.

Nerd High

The euphoria you feel when (after a frightening number of wrong guesses) you guess the right password just before you're locked out of a seldom used program.

After four tries, she finally guessed the right password to log into Etsy. Shiela couldn't believe her luck, or the Nerd High she was feeling.
