Mount Suribachi

A mountian in which the American Flag was planted signaling the fall of the Japanese on the tiny island of Iwo Jima and the victory of the U.S. Marines in the second World War.
The photograph of the raising of the flag atop Mount Suribachi would become the most reproduced picture in U.S. history.
