Synonym for a male's sex life. Used to obscure the subject of the conversation when around others (girlfriends, parents, eavesdroppers etc.).

Tom: Cuz, I heard you got that hot chick to go back to your place last night, how'd that work out??
Sharif: Yeah right dude, the moisture industry is taking a beating in this economy.
Example 2:
Tom: Yo kid, you and Jen been hangin out a lot recently, what's up with that?
Sharif: For real, thank god the moisture industry is back on the rise, I was just about to turn gay.
