Mercoetry

Terrible, sloppy poetry written by pseudo-intellectuals that disregards the conventions of good writing. Typically, ignores meter, rhythm and descriptive writing for generic verses littered with unsuited vocbulary.
Mercoetry:

'Lost within worlds of love so tender
We were two sides of equal splendor
Rising from a brief but needed recline
My hand enclosed her own so slender
As we walked out into the sunshine'
