Mandatoria

(n. pl.) Human resources policy documents, non-disclosure agreements, sexual harassment prevention training, workplace safety manuals, corporate mission statements, and other information that employees are required to read on a regular basis, even though the information has little or no bearing on 1) the reality of the workplace, or 2) the actual job function the employees perform. Most mandatoria is at least two years out-of-date and were written by HR drones who were laid off a few years ago.

Dude, the orientation to our new corporate branding and strategic transformation initiative was so long that it took me three days just to read through all the mandatoria.

While telling the Canadian people that he does NOT support private prisons, Emperor Harperius Mandatorius Minimus is deliberately laying down all of the groundwork to make a Canadian prison-industrial complex a reality.

Building prisons without criminals to fill them, and then creating enough statutes to criminalize enough people to make those prisons profitable...despite the cost to Canada and it's people.

Mandalorian

The Mandalorians were a cultural group from the Star Wars universe. Mandalaorian culture was militaristic and emphasized honor, personal strength, and bravery. The first Mandalorians were of the Taung race, but as the Mandalorians grew, many other races would join such as the Togorians and humans to name a few. The Mandalorian homeworld was known as Mandalore. Mandalorian military technology was some of the best in the galaxy. Mandalorian armor would inspire the protective technologies of many other civilizations, the Grand Army of the Republic included. The Mandalorian nation eventually waned from it's former glory, but still exists on Mandalore and Concord Dawn under the banner of the Mandalorian Protectors. As of 45 ABY, Boba Fett was Mandalore, and his grand daughter was slated to succeed him.

Mandatory Party Time

This is typically a work-related event that you know you have a real good time. Still, you need to tell you're significant other that this is a mandatory work event where there are networking opportunities with centers of influence, also the potential for political gerrymandering, but primarily it's just a good time.

Nancy has been out multiple times this week, but she wasn't going to miss this critical work event and decided to go even though she is tired. The trick is going to be in explaining to her main man Dutch that this wasn't just another Mandatory Party Time.

Mandatory Fun

Fun, Mandatory: When the 1sg or CO (or their spouses) decide that the company's spouses and children are going to have a day set aside for them to have a family oriented even, and you are "invited" (I.E. no choice). you may not leave until the day is over, even though you live in the barracks and have no dependents of your own.

Nah man, CO has us on a Mandatory Fun Day today at 7:00 am.
