Lie-M 

1. The act of making a deliberately false or deceptive statement perpetrated using Instant Messenger (IM). To Lie-M.

2. Of or pertaining to the use of the Instant Messenger (IM) status indicator to hide your true whereabouts, either intentionally or unintentionally, especially in an office cubicle setting.

With eager excitement I tried to IM some good news to my boss, but her status was set to "In a meeting". Dejected, I proceeded to leave a note on her desk. Much to my surprise, she was not in a meeting but sitting at her desk. It was at that moment I realized I had been Lie-M'd.

I'm not gonna lie 

A term that when prefixed to a statement does more damage than good. Its purpose is to state that you are about to tell the truth about something. However, If one has to use this statement, it can be concluded that when that same person does not use this statement then they are lying, because when they are telling the truth, they state that they are about to tell the truth by saying, "I’m not gonna lie..."

So this statement, in effect, when used, devalues any potential credibility one once had as an honest and truthful person when they are not using the statement.

It is synonymous with: to tell you the truth, honestly, actually, as a matter of fact, in fact , truthfully

One of the gayest expressions commonly used today. Often used before stating something obvious or something that no one would bother to lie about. This expression is over used and almost always makes the user look like a douche.
