Came from the words the "Latvian rifleman" or "Latvian archer" from WW1 because they were one of the best shooters in the world.

Originally the german word for "salmon", it describes a 10-Euro-Bill because of its pink colour. This term became popular after the Austrian rapper " Yung Hurn " used it in his song lyrics.
