To be without creativity. To hold the power to create a truly epic game and fail on numerous levels. Also see: Sakurai, Nintendo

Was started on the Super Smash Bros Brawl Forums on GameFAQs and GameSpot due to the anguish of fans that at least 3 final smashes of characters were all landmasters. It is now used to describe a statement that is uncreative, cliche, or expected.

Ex. "lolololzurz theis iz a dumb topicz u phALEZ/10"

Reply post: "Wow. That comment was so horribly LANDMASTER. Next time try and post something creative and that isn't so cliche"

Landmaster (n): An object used to represent an unexpected and disappointing turn of events. Originated from Super Smash Bros. Brawl, where three different characters have the same final smash.

What do you think youre going to get for Christmas?

I dunno, but with my luck, its probably just gonna be a landmaster.
