Dutch verb with some abstract and versatile meaning 'doing something worthless/ineffective/irritating'.

Derivative of kut.

"Zit niet zo te kutten!" (stop doing/saying something worthless)
"Hou eens op met dat gekut!" (participle; quit whatever silly it is that you are doing)
"Ze hebben de hele middag een beetje lopen kutten." (All afternoon they have been hanging around doing nothing useful).

Cats aren't people so they don't have personalities. No matter what their ages, there's always a little kittenality in each of them.

My cat Sam is 12 years old, but since he's so playful and goofy, he has the kittenality of a two month old kitten.

Kitten Play 

Kitten play is a sub category of pet play - which is a BDSM practice. There is a lot that goes into it, but generally speaking, Kitten Play is a practice which involves a dom & sub (dominant and submissive). The pet, or in this case kitten, is the submissive, while their master, owner, or guardian is the dominant. A large part of kitten play, and pet play, is feeling like you have someone to take care of you - to rely on. When acting in kitten play, the submissive will meow, bite, scratch, or an other cat like behavior towards the dominant. The dominant will play with their kitten, and reward them for being good. Although, the full system of punishment & reward is a part of this practice.

Someone asked me why I wear a collar, ears, and tail, and I told them it is because I practice Kitten Play.

kitten therapy 

Ohhhhh, so cute! It's when you are really stressed out and cute kittens just brighten your day and melt your anxiety away.

I used kitten therapy earlier, and now I feel better in dealing with school, parents, etc.
