this is the Japanese term for Black cat. however if it is written as Kuro No Neko it literally means Black's Cat

Actually, the Director of Trigun said that its name is Kuroneko Kuukan, or "Black Space Cat". "Kuroneko-sama", or "Lord Blackcat", is a nickname people have given to it.

Actually Kuroneko-SAMA, this literally means "Black Lord of Cats". He is really a basic comic relief, and can be seen everywhere, from a beer bottle lable to being shot from the sky.
