Krooked Barz is a Hip-Hop/Rap Recording Artist , Songwriter, Producer and Beat maker from the North End of Winnipeg, Canada , infamously known as the "Murder capital of Canada.

Since 1982 Winnipeg has been the murder capital of Canada 27 times more than any other large Canadian city (Toronto,Vancouver,Montreal,Edmonton)

Born & Raised in Winnipeg,Mb ,the capital and largest city in the province of Manitoba, and the seventh-most populated city in the country of Canada with a population just under million ( 825,000 , as of 2021) Krooked Barz fell in love with music from an early childhood and the young MC was already writing his own songs by the time he was 10 .

On Mothers Day, Sunday, May 12,2019 Krooked Barz was shot on A North Winnipeg street at pointblank range in a "walk-up" style shooting. As he was walking to a nearby house for a mothers day celebration with his friends , one of whom had a 1 year old child in a stroller(luckily she never got hurt.)

Krooked Barz fell in love with music from an early childhood and the young MC was already writing his own songs by the time he was 10 and producing his own hip-hop instrumentals by the age of 12.
