Kidusophy

Kidusophy (noun)
Pronunciation: /ˈkɪdʊˌsɒfi/
Etymology: From Geez Qedus (ቅዱስ, “sacred”) + Greek Sophia (Σοφία, “wisdom”).
Form: Singular noun; uncountable
Field: Philosophy, Spiritual Psychology, Metaphysics
Created & owned by: Daniel Yohannes Kelemewerk

Definition:
Kidusophy is a philosophical-spiritual system and a movement of sacred wisdom—a fusion of ancient Ethiopian holiness (Qedus) and Greek lived insight (Sophia). It is not a belief system, but a conscious rebellion against inherited dogma and fragmented spirituality. It offers a third path: where divinity is internalized, and truth becomes an act of radical self-integration.

Essence:
A decolonized, sacred intelligence that reclaims both African holiness and Greek inquiry to awaken personal truth, not through external obedience, but through internal awakening.

“ቅዱሶፊ የሚያስተምረው ዋነኛ እውነታ፦
አምላክን መፈለግ ከራስህ መጀመር አለበት።”
("The first truth Kidusophy teaches: The search for God begins within yourself.")

Core Pillars:
- Inner Truth over External Authority
- Wholeness over Dualism
- Experience over Dogma
-Self-Weaving over Self-Help

Philosophical Purpose:
- To liberate spirituality from religious fundamentalism
- To decolonize enlightenment, rooting it in African-Greek consciousness
- To reconstruct identity through self-weaving—the act of consciously crafting your place in the cosmos

Quote:
“Sacredness isn’t a cage—it’s the sky in which wisdom flies.”
Through Kidusophy, I no longer worshipped—I remembered.
(Conscious awakening doesn’t come through prayer alone—it comes through re-patterning the mind.)

church hurt

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.

Stealthie

when you're holding up your phone and making faces at it, as though you are taking a selfie, but you're really taking a picture of the person across from you or the wall or anything else that seems interesting but you don't want to be caught dead taking a picture of.

This action is often made more convincing by wiggling the eyebrows or opening the mouth, to pretend you're trying to get a Snapchat filter to work.
FRIEND A: "Did you just take a stealthie of me?"

FRIEND B (turning phone around): "no I was just using snapchat's new filter, see?"
