A glorious meme. From a golden age of SEGA. When sonic the hedgehog 3 came out, sonic and knuckles was supposed to be with the game, combined into one.

But due to hard ware they couldn't, but with a special game of sonic and knuckles, you could combine them and get Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Thus years later sparking a meme.
