An explanation given to someone without their consent, especially about a topic that does not require clarification or is considered common sense, and is presented in a way that is unnecessary, excessive, or redundant.

A statement or series of statements that over-clarifies simple information, often including multiple fillers such as “like” or “and,” and extending beyond what is reasonably needed for understanding.
