An adjective defining the relationship between two or more cities. Used like the word intergalactic.

Even though it wasn't an intergalactic war between galaxies, the two cities had an interpolistic battle about the status of droids in America.

When you're looking up Interpol's second studio album "Antics" but you think it's one word because there is no space between the two words on the album cover.

Person 1: Dude, have you heard this album called Interpolantics? That song Rosemary is killer!
Person 2: Uh, I'm pretty sure it's called Interpol - Antics.
Person 1: You are blind. It clearly says Interpolantics on the cover!
Person 2: No it doesn't. Whoever designed this cover didn't give it much thought.
Person 1: I'll say. I can't find the name of the band anywhere!

A couple where each partner supports a different political party.

Victoria, who actively supports the Libertarian Party, is dating Leishnaly, who supports the Democrat party. They are an interpolitical couple.
