INTEGRATED PAIN TREATMENT is defined as a “MEDICAL SPECIALTY ACCESS GUIDE” for patients who are experiencing pain caused by a disease or an injury; a knowledge of this guide would help them in the early detection of the cause and severity of their condition; an understanding of the “pain treatment integration” of a Primary Care Physician (PCP), a Physical Therapist /Doctor Of Physical Therapy (DPT), a Physiatrist (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) and a Surgeon (When Necessary) would help patients minimize, if not shorten the period of their pain suffering and help them maximize their physical recovery from the injury (Copyright 2020 ) Dr. Gerry Catapang, PT, DPT, MGS coined the term Integrated Pain Treatment.
