The massive fall lead to chaos, and opportunistic leeches attempting to take control over the brand eventually abandoned HOKK for a failed V2 contract.
The V1 contract laid dormant for years, however in January 27th 2024, 4chan found the project, enamored by the backstory, and the potential for redemption, users began a community revival of the original contract, turning HOKK into an OG meme of the board in /biz/ and /bant/.
