Hendrixing 

Slicing open your forehead slightly between the eyes with a knife and using a headband to keep a sheet of LSD firmly attached over the wound. Jimmy Hendrix allegedly did this on stage to "get into the zone", hence the name. Also known as "opening the third eye".
