Noun, an attempt by someone underage to proctor alcoholic beverages by use of a random middle-man. It is executed by showing up at a store that sells alcolic beverages, seeing someone who looks plenty old enough to purchase said beverages, approaching this person and saying to him/her "hey buddy..." If they accept you then negotiate some terms of the agreement. What kind of alcohol, brand and when the payment will be made all must be decided. The middle-man reserves the right to charge a fee for this exchange. It is considered a pretty sketchy way of getting booze.

"Hey buddy... think you could get me handle?"

"Dude where the hell did you get all this booze? You look like you're 9 years old."
"I pulled a hey buddy over at the gas station."

Stockton Heybuddy

Method of greeting a person in the 209 by shoving the middle finger in their face.

So I fought a couple bigass Fedors yesterday when I was out riding my bike but I kept falling down cause I was in bike shoes. They stole my phone, but I caught up to them at a light and asked to have it back. I made sure to give them the Stockton Heybuddy when I left.

Modesto heybuddy

A close cousin of the Stockton heybuddy. Also a method of greeting someone in the 209 by shoving the middle finger in someone's face. This maneuver is often performed with both hands. It differs from its Stockton cousin in that the person administering it is often literate, and, in many cases employed.

I saw a tweaker looking in my neighbor's garage, so I pushed him off his bike, and gave him the old Modesto heybuddy before kicking him in the face.
