Similar to r/animemes but less authoritarian, Hentai is allowed and mods actually watch the subreddit and it's culture. basically, a gooder r/animemes.
Don't call them "fucking weebs" it will only empower them.
Bro are you still on r/animemes, that place is dead come to r/goodanimemes.
When r/animemes mods banned the word "trap", which is commonly used as a slur against trans people, a few members of the sub were so upset that they created their own subreddit where the main premise was lax rules and the ability to use the slur. This sub allows any type of content portraying to anime, even things that are not memes. Many rule breaking posts will be left up despite reaching the front page and being reported. Most of it's content are reposts from r/animemes.
"Bro, you should be using r/animemes, don't you know that r/goodanimemes has a transphobic past?"
A subreddit founded by a group of people who have lost the entire plot and post 24/7 so called 'good memes' that is literally porn, despite there being subreddits for such memes related to hentai for example: r/hentaimemes, which post entirely better hentai memes then in there. In summary: just a bunch of tourists pretending to be weebs by ruining the perception of what good anime memes should be and conflating it with hentai.
P.S: r/Goodanimememes, yes the one with the word anime lengthened instead of it being shortened to 'ani', is the true subreddit for Good anime memes.
"Hey dawg, you should check out r/goodanimemes, their memes are really funny!" - person 1
"i'd rather shoot myself in the head then go in that cesspit of tourism." - person 2
churchhurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the churchhurt that was inflicted on me as a child.
when you're holding up your phone and making faces at it, as though you are taking a selfie, but you're really taking a picture of the person across from you or the wall or anything else that seems interesting but you don't want to be caught dead taking a picture of.
This action is often made more convincing by wiggling the eyebrows or opening the mouth, to pretend you're trying to get a Snapchat filter to work.
